To those like myself who have not yet received invites, take note of Fridays admissions blog post in which Carrie Lydon, associate director of admissions confirms that applications are assigned and read randomly and in constant streams through the review cycle. If you haven't heard yet it simply means they have not finished reading your application.
Doesn't Booth also offer an admit day for admitted students to learn more about the program? So perhaps one could interview off-campus and then make the trek to Chicago for admit day?

They do for Round 1 and Round 2 admits. I believe in the past the date has coincided with the Kellogg day (which is nice for out of towners accepted to both schools), although I'm not sure if that is coordinated or coincidence.
I am in NYC, so a flight away. I think you are right and I should check out the city and the school. Still, very excited to get an invite. Would anyone take Columbia, Wharton or Stern over Booth?
I heard that last year the yield (number of R1 admits matriculating) for R1 was so high that R2 was super competitive. Hope that's not going to be the same case again this year..

Thanks for this. I was beginning to feel down about my lack of invite.
Also, do any of you still see the GMAT scores as "awaited" on your application? I know they have mentioned that we be patient about this but it has been almost 4 weeks since I have submitted it.
And, are they sending out the declines too? Or, do they send it out on the last day?

Declines/Dings/Rejections will only be sent out on Feb. 15. All app status changes prior to then bring good tidings of an interview invite.
They review apps with the reported scores. They only need the official score if you're admitted. Your GMAT scores can say awaited on the day you're admitted. It doesn't matter. If they need the official score they will contact you.
Does "on campus interview" choice means an interview with a second year MBA student/ alum only? Or do adcom members also interview applicants in which case there is a chance to be interviewed by one of them?
Finally got the nod this morning. First piece of good news in this application gauntlet that's been stealing my soul these past few months. Great way to start the week!
MBADude, are you an Indian based out of India or a brit? I see CA in your alias.

On second thought, CA could stand for so many things, including California. Basically, I'm going nuts trying to figure out if any Indian from India has received an interview invite yet. Booth, please come to my rescue quickly....

Same here. In R1, all Indian invites were released at the same time.

So girlinblack, you mean ony one shot of invites and nothing after that? I'm not sure if that would aid the process of scheduling alum/telephonic interviews since most would attempt to do so at more or less the same time and for the same window. Anyway, Round 1 had a notification release period of a week or so; so one clump might have sufficed.
Heck! I was trying my best not to speculate and here I go again. Best to go fetch some beers and chill.
Well I did not read so much in detail but one particular day atleast 5-6 GC members ( Indians from India ) reported having received the invite. I am not sure if any more were sent to Indians after that day.
Yes this time we do have a longer window & it is adding to the anxiety
I thought Booth was going with a random application review approach, but it seems Indians are excluded from this
They have reduced me to speculations as well. I wait for 9.01 AM everyday to see if they sent anything and then check this site to see the profiles of those invited. This can't be good for me! :D
Guys, on the admissions blog, they posted that the admissions review are random, and a lot of people haven't even been reviewed yet.
I know it's easier said than done, but try to keep hopeful until closer to the 15th.
I got my invite Friday and I'm already interviewing this evening. This can only mean they are trying to get people interviewed quickly after each wave in order to free up the alums for the next waves of invite.
