I dont think s/he is on waitlist..
Last year they deferred some applicants to RD, which basically meant that the final decision would be rendered with RD applicants (read Jan/Feb 2012) but one would be freed from the "binding decesion" clause..

Thanks for the information, "our chances of getting in come down to the number of applicants with similar profiles that turn down CBS to go elsewhere " i dont like that
