Just went complete! Let the agonizing wait period begin...

Does anyone know if all ED decisions (admit / denied / waitlist) are normally rendered before the New Year? It seems like adcom attempts to get to a decision within two months so it is unlikely that they would carry EDs into 2012 unless they were waitlisted right? Or is being deferred to ED a common practice?

Judging by the recent activity, it is taking adcom ~3 weeks to render a decision once the interview report is submitted, though some people have been waiting for longer. I doubt they will carry ED into 2012 unless waitlisted.

Ok I have just received an email from admissions, saying they would like to talk to me about my application..Anyone with the same experience?
Does ADCOM also call you when you have been waitlisted? or only when you have been accepted?

They'll likely only call if they have additional questions or to tell you that you've been admitted. They definitely are not going to call you to tell you that you're wait list.

A few people much earlier in this thread received an e-mail like that and when they called admissions back they were admitted.

Did you miss any phone calls earlier in the day?

I got that same email and they asked if I would consider an EMBA. When I said no they said ok, and then I got into full time about a week and a half later. Apparently admissions from the exec and full-time programs have combined, and so they pool applicants. However, somebody else received an email to talk and it was to let him know he'd been accepted. The bottom line though is it is definitely not a rejection or waitlist.

I had my interview this monday, still waiting to go complete. ED applicant.
This question has probably been asked a dozen times in this forum but...

Do you know how much time it takes between the interviewer feedback submission and the status update to go "complete"? Is it immediat? Or does it take some time for Adcoms to process the interview feedback? If so how long?

Mine took 2 days, but some people have taken a week or longer to go complete. Your interviewer has to submit their feedback before the status will change to complete.

I've been waiting for a week now.
This is killing me. As someone who has interviewed many people, I know that the more time passes before writing feedback, the more the interviewer forgets strengths and focuses on weaknesses. Ughh I should stop and be more positive....
