Does anyone know if Columbia has a pre-term to brush up on your quant skills like Wharton and Tuck?

Yes. There is a mandatory pre-term set of tests you must take with accompanying coursework if you need to brush up. Topics covered last year were accounting, math, and finance.
If you have a business/math background, you should be able to pass these tests quite easily, and likely won't need to do any of the coursework.
Congrats to those admitted! I just received an invitation for a second interview, on-campus with an Admissions Officer. Has anyone received a similar e-mail? I suppose it's better than an outright rejection, but I'm certainly a bit nervous - any advice would be much appreciated !

This is an extremely good sign. Go there and close it! GL
Congratulations!!! TheGeneral!!! I know you have been waiting quite a while. I was seeing who was in NY, so hopefully in 2 weeks (and we all get in..... knocking on wood) First rounds on me!!!
Just noticed that today marks 12 weeks since 1/4. Is there anyone who applied before the merit deadline and still hasn't heard anything back (interview or ding)?

ditto. Haven't heard a peep--intvw invite or ding. If I don't hear anything by April 4th (3 months since submission), I'll reach out to adcoms to check if they lost my app. I'm happy I haven't been dinged yet, but I think any chances of acceptances are getting slim.
I interviewed almost a week ago and I haven't gone complete yet. It took me forever to get interview responses from the alumni, and then eventually find a time when I could actually meet one. Fingers are crossed.
Ding w/ interview. Not very surprising- I think it became clear to me throughout the process the fit wasn't there. Really happy with my current offers and happy someone else who really wants to attend will get the opportunity. Good luck to those still waiting!
