oh and I had one question, i know may seem simple just wanted to double check. When you log on and it says application submitted, and below it says interview complete, that is what people are referring to as the date of "complete" correct?

Wow, bcdilley, congrats! That's one heck of a week. Any idea which way you're leaning? For purely selfish reasons, I hope it's Kellogg :P

Thank you! Because my focus of study will be in Finance, Real Estate, and Entrepreneurship, I am leaning more towards Booth or Columbia. I absolutely love Kellogg too--especially the location and the fact that I have a young family coming with me. I plan to transition from my pre-MBA career in Construction Management to Real Estate Investment and Entrepreneurship post-MBA.

Applied on 1/4 and still have not heard anything (including intvw invite or ding). I'm thinking of reaching out to the adcoms with a nice email just to check in. Are there any experiences on this thread that would strongly advise otherwise? Going on 11 weeks without a peep and I was told at a CBS admissions event that adcoms attempts to go complete for applicants within 12 weeks of submission. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
I don't think there's anything wrong with reaching out to ask if everything is still on track. That said you are probably just going to get the standard "We have had a record number of applications this year. Your application is still under review and you should be notified shortly . . ." There's probably no new information they can give you, but it might give you some peace of mind to feel assured you're not just being completely forgotten.

On a related note, a week from today marks the 12 week deadline for all of us who submitted on 1/4 and it seems like a LOT of us are still waiting. I wonder how realistic it is for everyone to expect to hear by then. I feel like it will take a few more weeks to finish all the merit deadline applications.

17 weeks for me... but who's counting?

Hang in there and good luck.

That is awesome, congratulations on CBS. We have the same background and the same focus. Hopefully I can get out of the waitlist. Good luck to you buddy.

Don't sweat. it's not unusual that interviewers don't respond to thank-you emails.

I submitted 1/5, got invited 2/29, interviewed 3/13 and my application status hasn't changed yet. I e-mailed last week to ask if they needed anything else from my end, but they replied to say no, it's okay. I'm getting kind of nervous though. I've been admitted to other schools and need to confirm soon but I really want CBS. Anyone know what are the chances I'll hear from them this month?
