No way, most of us CGSM people here will be dinged by SOM. From this board only 1 or 2 CGSM people have heard from Yale. Among my many friends and acquaintances that applied through CGSM, only 2 heard back. So, it could be that most CGSM apps are at the bottom of the pile, they may have been forwarded late by CGSM, the delay may be due to the snow and increased apps volume, etc, etc. but it's def not a ding for all of us still waiting. Just saying! #keephopealive

Waiting is so stressful, hence the over-analyzing. I got my "under review" notification from HAAS on 1/22 and no invite. :(

I just got an invite to interview at Darden, so if you are waiting on an invite to Darden, there's still hope!

this is a question to prior applicants - or anyone who might be familiar. What happens if you get the CGSM scholarship and you want to do a semester abroad? I see that if you do the stern/hec dual degree you can't use ur consortium scholarship for your year at HEC - but what about just regular exchange.

Great question. It actually depends on the school and who you'd be paying tuition to while abroad. If the school has it set up so that you have to pay tuition for your host school (say USC or Cornell), you can go abroad and use the Consortium fellowship because tuition has already been paid. However, if you attend an MBA program where you pay the visiting school's tuition (like Kellogg or UCLA, I believe), you end up stuck with the bill and cannot use CGSM money to pay for that semester or quarter abroad.

Definitely something to consider when making your final school selection!

Anyone have any idea when the Consortium draft is this year? I think it should be the first week of March, right?

our guess right now is that the draft should be approximately on Thursday, March 12, based on last year's timeline.

Not sure if folks are still actively reading but it would help me (and others) get an idea of what is going on with Yale if people responded to this and said yes/no they have received a round 2 invite or deny from yale - through consortium.

If the draft is in 3-4 weeks then either they have a tight timeline or.... who knows

I think it may be earlier that week. But i'm confident we will know our Fellowship fate by March 13

I have not received any information at all since they sent me the initial email instructing me to do my recorded questions. No invite. Nothing.

I know several people (most of them are not on this forum) who applied to Yale through CGSM and have already had their interviews. That's not to say that they couldn't still send a couple more invites out this week. But, I would consider that one a wash, if it were me...
