I am an applicant from India and have already started on the application process for the Haas. When I read in details of the TOEFL waiver, I came to know that applicants studied in Indian Universities with English as medium of instruction also have to provide the TOEFL score.
I don't understand when most of the schools gives the candidate an option of taking a TOEFL waiver in case he/she studied more than 2 years in Universities with English medium or worked in country for more than two years in the English speaking country, why Haas is not providing the same option.
I have already send the GMAT score to HAAS, but now knowing that it is not recognizing the Other Education System, I am reconsidering whether I should even apply in round 2 with the TOEFL score.
I just called the adcom and asked for the options of the waiver and she told me that there are none for Indian candidates.
P.S.: I have done my undergrad from IIT, and worked for 6+ years in MNC in US and India. I know that TOEFL won't take much time, but I am not comfortable with the reason to take it.
