So I submitted my app on 10/13 and got the "under review" email on 10/18. I saw that someone who got the "under review" notification on 10/20 was already notified of an interview. Does that mean I've been passed over? :(

Do not worry HaasNumberOne. I attended a Haas info session yesterday and the lady there told me that the order in which interview invites are sent is random. Someone in this forum had also mentioned that people get their invites in no particular order. So i would say, you are still in :-D .PEACE

I didn't get an interview last year, but knowing that they interview everyone they accept, I'm anxiously waiting to hear back on that. If you're asking a general question, I'm not sure of the answer.

ah... I was curious whether reapplicants (who were interviewed last year) will have to be reinterviewed again this year. Or Haas may make decisions based on last year's interview results.

Hi HaasNumberOne,

I totally feel you on the "am i being overlooked" question - my app went "under review" on 10/14, which is nerve-wracking. That being said, I'm holding out hope that the admissions officers are telling the truth and that it really is random. A few of my friends got interviews last year, and their invites came out closer to late November. I'm trying to stay optimistic for now!

One data point isn't a large enough sample size to even speculate. Give it time :)

My wife just received her interview invite - her status changed to "under review" the same day as me 10/20 and she received her invite one week after me.

So I had the interview last night. The alumnus was from the 08 class and she was really nice. Nothing too unexpected. Everything you can find on clearadmit. I thought it went pretty well. Beyond the career progression, why MBA, why Haas, she asked about my teamwork experience. I gave an example about a cross functional team that I worked on which seemed to go over decently well. She followed up with a question about a team experience where I encountered conflict. I rambled a little bit with this one. Not a total crash and burn but not the most eloquent answer.

Overall I thought it went very well. Very conversational. The alumnus was genuinely excited about her Haas experience. Now I have to wait a full two months before I hear anything else. I wish Haas was more like Kellogg and released decisions throughout the month leading up to their communication date.

Hi

So unlike other schools Haas renders its decision mid-Jan so I've been under the impression (since they don't indicate any time frame via email or on its website like say, Booth does) that their interview invites would only start end Nov. But I can see that some people have started being invited. Congratulations to you all. Would be great if someone could answer these questions:
1. How many/what percentage of applicants are invited to interview?
2. What is the time time frame for interview invites to go out?
3. Do they wait till mid-Jan to inform all applicants about their decision or are many rejected candidates informed along the way?
4. Is there a Haas spreadsheet that we can access?
