Just finished up at my super day in NYC. Interview was very conversational - all the usual suspects (why mba, why booth, goals, etc) plus some questions that were tangential to my responses. Finished up with questions for my interviewer and lunch with other candidates and interviewers. Great experience overall and I think it went well!

just had my interview with alumni.
I don't know - something was just a little off. This is the first boothie I've met that I didn't exactly take to. Very serious and seemed set on emphasizing that Booth is a SERIOUS school.
Nothing terrible. answered all questions I think but didn't connect. oh well, the long wait till march 26 begins.
Questions were not in a set format - was asked walk me through your resume.... I tend to answer why mba, why x school, why now when I do that, so was just asked some follow-ups from what I said. Only 1, give me an example of (think it had to do with delivering bad news).
Then it was questions for the interviewer....if I didn't have an arsenal to ask, interview would have been 20 mins I feel. Luckily, I am semi-skilled in probing questions so whole thing took about 40-45 mins.
Good luck to others! Kinda wish I was able to do the hub/campus visit

I had my off-campus interview recently.
Very orthodox, no curve balls...WMTYR, why MBA, why Chicago Booth, accomplishment, failure, what contribution can you make, any questions?...
The interviewer didn't react much to anything I said so I'm not sure about how I did, so the long wait begins.
By the way, I heard that school will consider my overall application including my interview and decide if I will be admitted/wait-listed/dinged.
So how would this be done? They will look at my essay, recommendations, etc. again to finally decide their decision? Is it possible that I could be dinged although my interview went well?
