Don't sweat it. The way I look at this for you is you've got a great GMAT and great GPA. Re-think your application story, re-write your essays and practice your interviews. You'll be a lock somewhere great for R2.

Because your stats are really good, I think you might benefit from getting help from an application consultant before going into R2. I no longer have an affiliation, but I used to work for Veritas (not for the MBA program though) and I honestly believe they are the best program out there. They have very skilled staff, a lot of former adcoms, and usually give you very detailed and candid advice.

Nope, interviewed at MIT and Booth. Declined at both schools. So no, you are not alone.

Can you afford to make a deposit at wither MIT or Columbia until you hearback from your WL schools?

One more WL here. Never thought that would be happy to be waitlisted, but it's not the worst case :-D

Should we create a separate WL thread?

Thank you and the others for your words of encouragement. Clearly, given my 0/3 record, I need to make a material change in my app, as you suggest. I want to email Booth asking for feedback. Not getting even a WL after interview makes it seem there's some definite area of weakness they can point to. Has anyone in this forum ever had any success requesting feedback? Would be interested to hear.
