anybody have any thoughts on deferred applicants' chances now in the regular decision round? Will deferred applicants have an equal chance of getting in versus regular decision folks, or at we at a disadvantage because we have already been "rejected" once already? I have no idea how this works and would appreciate some insight on this. Also, is it adcom's policy to automatically defer applicants to regular decision if they don't cut it for the early decision round? The reason why I'm asking is because I haven't heard of anyone that applied early decision, received an interview invitation, and have been rejected yet (I know it's still early in the process). Thanks!

I am visiting Columbia next week and had sent out a few e-mails but without luck of reaching anybody. I'm thinking perhaps since it's a new school year that the information for Club presidents has changed. Anybody out there at Columbia in the Finance Club?? I would love to pick a brain if somebody is willing and has the time.
