You may want to downplay the "quantyness" of it, but I came from a pretty non-target school, so I think this, along with my GMAT and good GPA, helps to assuage any doubts an adcom may have over my ability to handle the coursework.
Also, Columbia has a long history with the CFA, so if anyone values it, its CBS. I just want to make sure I get credit if any credit is due.
Yeah, I hear what you're saying and believe me, I want to get credit for passing the first 2 levels too but outside of mentioning it in the essays and one line on the resume, there's not really much I can do. For the people that know about the hard work, exclusivity and comprehensiveness of the CFA program, a brief mention will do. For the ones that aren't familiar, they won't be convinced about its worth in an essay and any attempt to do so will just appear whiney. So, whatever happens, I wouldn't worry about it. I especially wouldn't worry about it if I had your profile. =)
