I am another J-Term applicant (entered my data under madmax), also waiting from a response from Alma Mater (my priority choice). I was hoping today would be the day, since they are done receiving packages for January but apparently they are still analyzing the recently arrived. Does anyone know anybody AT ALL that got acceptance or denial for J-Term 2011? In my country, apparently no one has.
Does anyone have a good estimate for how long it takes for an interview invite after 'under review' status is shown? I was placed under review October 3.

I recall that there were a couple J-term admits early in the process, before we put together the spreadsheet. Don't remember the names though.

How do I contact admissions office? I made a small mistake in my application and would like to let them know. I did try to get in touch through: https://www4.gsb.columbia.edu/mba/contact but I am not sure if that is going to be effective.

I imagine there's an email address you can use to contact directly, but I used the same contact form you did before and received a reply the next day.
Hi All, When I read this post I get nervous. What's the chance with CBS RD? I'm planning to apply on end of December...

It's tough to quantify the advantage of ED vs RD, but I would guess that the majority of the class comes from RD so your chances are as good as most people. You're getting in before the fellowship deadline, which I think is important.
in for ED. Can someone update my line in the excel to represent that date? I dont think I have access to do it.
Did you just hear? Anyone else feeling that they are being very slow with Jterm?

I emailed them on Friday asking if they give consideration to international applicants due to time constraints. They replied just now and advised that they will try to abide by the 8-12 weeks time frame but they cannot guarantee to answer before end of October (in my case) since theirs is a rolling admission process so they go over applications in the order they were received.
Just got an email from CBS admissions with the subject line showing "My Name - Invitation to..." and then I excitedly opened it only to read "Invitation to Attend Columbia Business School Information Session in Vancouver". Arrrrrrrrgh.
