I submitted my application on 12/3 and got an email notification on 12/6 that my status has changed. It now says that my "application is incomplete". My TOEFL scores should have reached them by now (its been over 2 weeks since I asked for the scores to be sent). I cant think of any other reason why my application should be incomplete.

Anyone else in the same situation?

I'm also a reg decision applicant and got an invitation to interview. I submitted right before the ED deadline, then got the "review pushed to December" email. For those who've interviewed, is the interview basically the why Columbia, why now, etc. questions?

yes, basically the same why mba/columbia/now questions. I think it's important to tell the story of how bschool fits into your larger plans. One thing to note, there are 2 questions which i have heard everyone get asked, including myself: a) talk about an ethical dilemma you faced and b) talk about how you overcame adversity or shown some sort of flexibility.

mine was very friendly and relaxed, though i'm still waiting for my decision. best of luck.

I submitted on 6th Oct ED. Application went complete on 18th Oct.
23rd Nov I got a mail from Columbia about TOEFL which I had not give. I wrote a mail to them and got a waiver the same day but I have not heard anything from them since then.
Now with RD applicants getting interview call, I am at least expecting a DING mail. Even that seems to be not coming :)

I was admitted to CBS about two weeks ago. I noticed some students on the facebook page already have CBS as one of their "networks" on FB. This leads me to believe they have columbia email addresses all ready.

When/how do you get your columbia email address? Sorry to post on this forum. There is no admit forum yet.

Congratulations!

I had the same question also. I wonder how people check their B-school email accounts when they are not even in the school.

as soon as your admitted, you can sign into the "admitted students" website and it gives you the instructions on how to set up your email accounts (you get two - the lifetime forwarding email and the columbia UNI which you'll have until graduation)

Congrats to all those who got in. I got a call from an adcom member today asking for more info on what I would be doing between now and start of school. Any thoughts on whether that is a good or a bad sign??

Generally speaking the consensus is that a call for more information is a good sign.

Are there anymore ED applicants waiting for interview invites? ( I mean hopeful interview invites, as RD applications have begun the review process)

That almost sounds like a ding to rest of ED non interviewees

Hi Bonobocobra, I'm in the same boat. Applied in ED, went under review in 11/15 and have no news since then. I'm international applicant.

Guys, any sugestion? should we email AdCom at this stage?

Thanks

I am not sure whether approaching them will be taken positively or negatively.
I am quite skeptical about sending an email, especially regarding revealing my identity. (That i am getting desperate basically)

I suggest to call them first-
1) they will not have a clue to your identity because i called them twice and they never asked who i was.
2) they will know that the ED candidates are getting impatient

For those RD applicants that have gotten interview invites already, did you get it through an email or did you just happen to check your status? So happy I get to start freaking out again, if this was an every year process I'd be dead by year 3....
