I was wondering the same thing. I was offered $30k in scholarships from UChicago today. I wish Columbia told you at the time of the decision, not after you submit your $6,000...
Contact one of the guys in admin about housing. For scholarships, I think they're released in Jan, and at that time you fill out the financial need form for possible need-based scholarships.

Thanks! That's great. Very excited to meet all of you during Admitted student weekend! The percentage at tuck for getting a job (90%) at graduation is staggering! I wonder if this is the result of a strong alumni network.
Just want to direct everybody's attention to CBS' 2010 employment report. We have had an exceptionally strong year for both the full-timers (class of 2010) and the interns (2011). In finance, which is my field, for example, besides the usual sell-side suspects, we see very strong buy side interests coming from firms like Bain Cap, Soros, Viking, Citadel, Cinven, Advent International, KPCB and many more.
I got the call from Admissions today. I will be joining the Class of 2013!
So here are my dates, if this can be useful to anyone (though I've learned to not draw too many conclusions from comparing with others): Submitted ED 10/06 Under review: 10/19 Interview invite: 12/2 Interview: 12/9 Interview complete: 12/10 Admitted 12/15

That's quite a swift decision after the invite. Life can change so much in less than a fortnight!

Hi, How many days does it take CBS on an average to review the application after submission? I submitted yesterday and it is already showing as being under review.
For those of you who have gotten calls, first of all, congrats! Second of all, my question is, did they call you on your work phone during the day? Or always cell phone. I'm nervously awaiting, but working away from my office for a few days, so I don't want to miss a call that goes to my desk .

I missed the call on my cell phone, but the Adcom member left me a message to call her back. So I'd just check your work voicemail occasionally.
I wonder if the early admit round is over. Fbook request volume is at zero, and doesn't seem like there's much movement on this thread from those who applied ED.

Along those lines, do we think we are going to see a two week silent period? Or maybe the beginning of next week and then quiet until after the New Year?
