@ziz:
You are simply wrong, and let me explain why:
1) CBS says you are wrong when I just called them.
2) YES! The vast majority of applicants at the end will be rejected...thats the point of a rolling decision. Its a 15% admit rate as is, and if you apply near the end its probably closer to 5%. So That makes total sense.
3) On J-term applications they move faster. They aim to have a decision (interview conducted, etc.) within 8 weeks. So first few weeks in December the class will be composed...with a late January start date. Days before? Thats like 6 weeks before....
4) Actually I do understand how the CBS system works. I have met personally with an ex-CBS admissions officer who I know from undergrad....I would say she knows a little more than you do.
5) Correct -- a lot of applicants are accepted earlier...but to say 90% of applications come in in May??? And 98% of applications are already in? Thats so beyond in accurate that its comical. Try like 25% are in at this point....
6) Right, the majority dont post....but don't you find it funny that last years facebook group for J-term had 175 people....right now the one you are in has TWO PEOPLE. Thats because your numbers are so so so off.
7) The hostility is because you are posting things on here that you have no idea about. Are in accurate. Make zero sense. Are irresponsible to post.
Anyone else have any thoughts? Agree/disagree with me?
