This may be a little late for you "ED-ers", but for the regular decision people Clear Admit has a free, 50 page guide for CBS. It might be worth a look/download. The offer ends tomorrow morning.

ahh, thanks. Applied already though!! :). Good luck!

Anyone hear of interviews / acceptances yet?

When did you submit?

I saw from previous years that the typical response time this early on was around 2-4 weeks. I think I remember them stating in an information session that there was a target turnaround time they had after an application was submitted as well. Don't know what it is, but at least you should be in the queue.

Good luck to everyone! Keep us posted! :-D

I submitted about 3 weeks ago. So I guess I will hear back soon!

Seems like someone already had an interview (check the clear admit Columbia blog!). It seems that they have started to review!

According to CBS, "Our goal is either to invite for an interview or deny admission within six weeks of a completed application being received. Our goal for interviewed applicants is to render a final decision within two weeks of the interview report being completed."

Yeah you can. I submitted mine and my recommenders sent their recommendation about 1 week after. I believe they won't start reviewing until your recommenders are in though.

Nothing from me. Though - I did get an email from CBS on some clarity on a few things on my application. It's been about a month or so, so I am probably in the ding pile...at least we tried!

That's awesome! Good luck. I'm glad things are picking up. I have faith that you will be the first person. Are you in ED or J-term?

What are your stats if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks and sure. I applied ED as CBS is my first choice!

A brief stats:730 GMAT, 3.88 GPA from a State University. Senior management consultant at an elite non-MBB firm. Will have 4 years of experience by fall 2015. First time applying for CBS. Will join and lead my family business after MBA. Good luck everyone!

I just got invited for an interview! I'm applying for the 2015 intake j-term.

FYI, I submitted my application on 7/21. Only a bit more than two weeks for an answer, they are really on top of it.

I didn't look at my status before I receive the email so I would not know. My guess would be yes??
