They also announced during the MBA spotlight fair that those who attended are eligible for a waiver

Booth usually does not do waivers for attending session. Usually schools who do, have a section in the application where you can specify the event, but booth does not have that

I remember vividly that an announcement was made by the adcom member who presented on that day. I hope i’m not mixing things up

It might have been for a different school since most of the M7s don’t give out waivers for attending events.

Hi, Unfortunately, given that Booth’s average full‐time MBA classroom has around five and a half years of work experience, and you have more than double that, it will be very difficult to convince Booth to enroll you in their full‐time program. Instead, you can consider the Chicago Booth Executive MBA program, which is designed for professionals with 12+ years of experience. In addition, there are three Sloan programs specifically tailored for executives at your level that you could explore. These are all highly competitive programs with smaller class sizes. that's difficult, do set out to explore the options like MSX at Stanford, MIT Sloan Fellow, and IBEAR MBA at USC Marshall. Also, schools like one-year MBA at Notre Dame University, One Year at Kellogg Business might be flexible to entertain your profile. Beyond USA, you may also look at the schools like HEC Paris (17th Months MBA), NUS (17 Months MBA), NTU (12-months MBA), IE Spain (one-year MBA), Manheim Business School (one-year MBA-APS will be required if you are coming form India, Vietnam or China to authenticate your academic documents) will welcome your profile for their full-time flagship MBA programs.

Applying to schools whose native language aren’t English can’t be difficult to get job after school , except maybe you will add language to your coursework while in school.
