Last year was their first year without the early action round system and tbh it was a bit of a ****. They hadn’t expected the lift in R2 applications and some great ppl I hear were dinged because they overadmitted R1. One of my clients who got into 2 other M7 got a weird note saying we can’t interview you yet but you are not WL hang in there. All this to say, not sure how much of what happened last year will be repeated.

What makes you say they “over admit”? I heard that they say they treat R1 similar to early decision.

I expect them to be learning how to handle going from rolling to rounds, so it makes sense it’s a bit of ****.

Oh dinging great applicants in round 2?

Last year I interviewed R2 and got dinged w/o being waitlisted. This intake I re-applied, now R1, with a better score and better overall application and still haven't received anything

Still got time - but I imagine that is super frustrating. CBS Yield was high last year the HSW volume up,
backup became plan A so I imagine there a lot of reapplicants.
