Yeah get on it. I ended up getting my list of 9 the same day I was invited to interview, did a quick google/linked in search, and found a list of my most compatible people. Sometimes bending the rules can be to one's advantage

I emailed one, waited two days, and got no reply. I then emailed my next person, and got her. The first lady replied a week later, saying she couldnt (imagine if I had waited for her to reply!).
Be proactive about this (obviously don't harass), everyday that passes does decrease your likelihood of getting admitted.
I found this process to be generally frustrating and unorganized.
Sleepy
I know it's only been two days, but I'm worried about how late in the round it is. I haven't heard back from 2 of the 3 alums I e-mailed, and the third told me he was too busy with international travel and moving to meet. Should I be sending out more e-mails or should I keep waiting?
