Just got the reject. My application was an aspirational one anyways.

720 GMAT (yup too less for someone coming from a competitive pool) / Chartered accountant and CFA/ Indian Male/ 5Ys work ex / Investment analyst with a global MNC.

All the best guys. My reco would be to apply from India only with a 740+

Lets not forget that deferrals from 2021 intake were high from India since embassy was shut between March and July 2021 because of the deadly covid wave.

More deferrals + higher YoY applications = Less seats.

so the competition became even more severe. Anyhow, you have the advantage of age. Just apply in ED. All the best.

While that makes sense, that's not the whole point. Between R2 and ED, there is hardly any time to justify the reapplication and have value addition in the reapplicant essay and recommendation. Does that not hamper chances?

True. It is highly subjective.

For me, my #1 to do is to smash a 760+ to even think about reapplying to CBS. For some, a promotion/role change/very great initiative at work/fine tuning post MBA goals should help.

An objective friend/consultant can help us solve the conundrum.
