Why do you think they would give away tickets to admitted students?
I think it is inappropriate to treat prospective students in this way.
They should try to make us love the school (with free tickets) AFTER we are admitted.

Did anyone find Cornell's information session somewhat rushed? For my visit, I didn't get to see any of Sage Hall's facilities, and the slide show was ran through quickly without much details. I'm not sure if this was due to the student who ran it or thats the nature of having one-on-one tours.

I was not really impressed with the students.

The person leading the info session was not really engaging. I know that they're trying to give a more laid-back-personal feel to it, but it was executed poorly.

I did sit in on one of Maureen o hara's class and it was really good. Interesting and engaging.

with the deadline less than 2 weeks away, have the interviews been stopped? Is it time to throw in the towel and say I got dinged by Cornell? I am guessing I am out of the Cornell race. My application is still under review - (its converted into toilet paper). I sent out a polite email to Cornell asking them if any interviews might go out... but heard nothing back

admissions411 posted 13 invites out of 26 applicants.. gmatclub here is a bit lopsided.. so fellas. anyone heard any new developments in cornell.. will interviews for R1 folks be sent out until Dec 7???

you and me both. I've heard our first app is always the worst, i guess mine were beyond poop. to boot, i haven't even received any additional emails since the park fellowship. the cornell scenario has left my picture.

Gang - the Cornell apps are way up this year. I imagine they're struggling to keep up. I wouldn't give up hope till minutes before the final notification deadline. In fact, I think they got behind last year and actually sent notifications late...I think. Don't quote me on that.

No reply from Cornell... man this waiting blows..

Someone at BW got an email reply plus one current student posted saying that interview invites can continue until Dec 7...hope something happens within the next few days...

read bw site that and interview invite gives one a 75% of admit...sounds a lot like Stern.

has anyone that interviewed in R1 heard about admits? i know adcom said dec. 7th but not sure if they released any admits early
