Here's my interview debrief FWIW:
I interviewed with a single admissions staff member -- no students were along for the ride. I thought that the interview was conducted very well, and it had a casual, friendly feel. It was about as conversational as you can get, with almost every question arising naturally out of our discussion. I didn't have any of my answers challenged, as others have reported in this thread (primarily with alumni interviews I think). I was concerned about some of these earlier debriefs, and am glad to report a generally positive experience.
I got the standard run of questions, nothing out of the ordinary, so I'll just briefly recap what I can remember:
Resume walkthrough
Examples of leadership
How would I contribute
How my background would be relevant to my immersion
What research had I done on the school
What other programs am I considering
What had we not discussed that I would like to address
What questions do I have
All in all, I thought that the interviewer did a great job. As for my performance, I guess that remains to be seen. I think the main takeaway is to travel to Ithaca if you can -- interviews on campus seem to go more smoothly than those with alumni.
Good luck to everyone still interviewing.
