I applied R3 and got an interview invite today. Didn't see the email until after 3:30 (when the office closes) so I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out the details of my interview. Regardless, very happy to get that email!

hey guys, I am a R3 applicant. I submitted my application one day ahead of deadline and the status is still "submitted". Is this normal or shall I expect this turn to be "completed" or sth. in few days?

"Submitted" means your application is complete (you still may want to check) but has not yet been reviewed. I don't believe your application will say "complete" until a decision (admit/deny) has been made.

Thank you! So there is a status change before the interview or decision made ...... well, so the committee just have started to read my file, and I contacted my account manager for one issue, never got any response .......

I am a RD3 applicant and received an interview invite from Cornell yesterday. The last day to interview is 2/19 with the exception of the Saturday interview day on 2/27.

Congrats! Was this specific to you mbachallenge, or general for the R3 applicants? Just to allay other posters' concerns, I was told by admissions that I received one of the first interview invites for R3. I suspect most of the round's invites will be sent over the coming weeks.

Good luck all! I'm looking forward to seeing floods of acceptances on this forum.

When do applicants receive invitations for the Park finalist weekend? Has anyone here received invitations for it? Haven't heard much about this process so just curious.

Yes, the committee has not even read your application so there is no need to even hope for an interview invite YET. I would doublecheck that every part of your application (your educational transcripts in particular) are complete. Once it goes under "Review", they will make a decision to interview you.

I am not an admission authority so I can't answer your question. What is your question?

If the nature of your question is "why isn't my application under review?" or "how come I haven't been invited to the interview?" type of questions, I would advice you to be patient.
