anybody know if johnson admissions office is open on feb 15? i was just wondering if it's reasonable to expect calls starting 12th (could happen incase office is closed on 15th...)

Great question.. And thanks for reminding. Does anyone know if their office is open on 15th? R1 folks got calls 1 day before the decision day(and i might have waited in vain if you hadn't reminded)

Egy, you do not need to worry at all. My application had gone under review a full six weeks after I submitted. This is very normal for Cornell.

The official date is the 16th. The "is the 15th fair game?" question is a topic of much debate. I'm assuming that as it's a private school, admissions is open that day. But I hereby dare somebody to call and ask (not it). :twisted:

Or maybe Raabend knows?

Egy, you do not need to worry at all. My application had gone under review a full six weeks after I submitted. This is very normal for Cornell.

No Feb 18 is not the last day for getting invites. Cornell does not have any last day for sending invites.

hey, just finished my interview...
R2 applicant...
appart from the standard interview Q's she also asked a few very specific ones like..
A situation where a team member was not pulling his/her wt?
A project that you left feeling unsatisfied?
A project with the most siginificant impact on the client?

I have very little work ex(2 yrs) so was kinda difficult to navigate through all these...

In all, it was a good interview...looking forward to the decision now.

Guys I am a R2 applicant and my application went under review on Jan 8th. Since, I havenot got any invites as yet and the decision date is just 5 days away, I think a DING is imminent. Should I write to my application manager and enqire abt whether all invites to internationals have been sent ot not?

I don't see how that would help your chances for an interview. If anything, it would annoy them for you to call to "inquire". If your application is under review, that means they have read or will be reviewing your application. I am sure they are not skipping you or any other international applicants.

You're saying that the last day to interview R3 candidates, not counting 2/27, is 2/19? Didn't they just finish looking at R2 apps? That seems awfully early.

Any other R3 applicants get an interview invite yet besides mbachallenge and alpha56789?

The last day to interview only applies to him and those that received an invite during that period.

The school is open on the 15th (they have exams scheduled on the academic calendar), so I bet the admissions office is too.

"Submitted" means your application is complete (you still may want to check) but has not yet been reviewed. I don't believe your application will say "complete" until a decision (admit/deny) has been made.
