Any news today?

I received a call. She said I was too fat, ugly, and drooled too much during the interview. And if I was 2 inches shorter, I would qualify as a midget. She also said she thought my essays were written by a third person and it was an insult to them for me to think I belonged at Cornell Johnson when I should really be applying to NYU. Finally, she said good luck and make sure everyone knows that Cornell Johnson is a "friendly" school.

Sorry that your GF dumped you... Especially the day before Valentine's day. Go out and celebrate the New Year in style anyway....

Oddly, hitting refresh on GMATclub actually helped quite a bit...

Other than that, caught up on DVD's, shows, etc... You need something enthralling to hold your attention - something you can sink your teeth into.

Find some addictive video game/movie/activity (preferably legal).

First, I disagree with xPiano. You must do something illegal.

Second, you must lower your interest in the school if you do not want to fall hard. Make sure you have a plan B firmly in place.

Third, make sure you try different positions with your gf/bf.

If you are really nerdy, you can use your time to learn the HP 12C calculator (RPN).

Other activities include:

1)Work out and lose weight. You don't want to look fat for your internship interviews (yes it counts).
2)Watch the Olympics and its depressing series of events.
3)Try luge
4)Trim your nosehair (yes it counts)
5)If you are bald, shop around for a hair transplant.
6)Read case interview books.
7)Do your credit repair now in preparation for financial aid.
8)Browse through on campus housing (Ithaca is freaken expensive for a small town).
9)Check if NYU takes Johnson rejects.
10)Check if U of Phoenix takes NYU rejects.

Ari, now you are speaking like a true Rossy.

I hate to disagree with your overwhelmingly positive view of things, but I think the fat lady will sing on Wednesday. About 100 people will be accepted in R2, and I think it takes 2-3 business days to call them all (not all can be reached on the first try and I am sure many will take 10-20 minutes of the caller's time with their life stories).

1. breaking up with my gf and getting cursed out took away half the time
2. to recover from 1. above, dating other girls took away other half of the time

Tarunmalik, if you look anything like your picture, I can see why you have trouble dating. You also need a hair transplant and grow another 20 inches to have a real chance at Johnson ladies. If you want to work at a bulge bracket IB or M/B/B, you also you need a longer middle finger because you will need to flick off bigger a-holes who might not see your baby-sized middle finger. Lastly, red pants... do not wear them to interviews.
