Round 3 dudes and dudettes:

I think the adcom's official position is right on the correlation between invitation date and turn-to-under review date - there is none. I think mine (round 2-er) changed like a week later, and got an invitation on 12/22. If you look at earlycareermba, he/she received one like a week after the submission date - so yes, it is random.

FYI, I received an invitation e-mail a day after the status on my app page changed. The invitation you would receive will say "Johnson Interview Invite". Thus, yes, periodically checking your app page does pay off :-D

Round 3-ers shouldn't worry much at this point. Trust me, when earlycareermba got the invitation, all Round 2-ers freaked out.

Guys, Good news for the guys who are in the waitlist. :) Finally after thinking for too long decided not to accept the offer of admission from Johnsonn. So one more seat up for grab!

I will be joining another program that matches more closely with my interests. Though Johnson offered me a nice scholarship whereas this other school didn't which made my decision even more difficult but I guess I need to follow my dreams instead of focusing on short term benefits.

Congrats to who made it and good luck to those who are waiting :)

Congrats. How did you get it? email or phone?

Via e-mail.
Wanted me to call them back to arrange an interview.

Hi Sangjo, congrats on the interview invite! Do you mind sharing with us if your application status ever changed to "under review" and, if so, how long ago??

Hmm..

I know it's very odd to get an invite this early. Even I've checked several times through email and applyyourself.

Anyway,

Submitted on 4th January and got an email which requested a copy of toefl score on 12th Jan (at that time I saw my app status "incomplete")
on 13th, status changed to "under review" and finally got an invite (email with title "Interview")

Is this what you asked me?

Dear All – My online application status reads – “Incomplete - Your application remains incomplete and we cannot review your application until we receive all of the required materials. Please review the details regarding missing documents and contact us with any questions.”

Does anyone know where could I find the details of those missing documents? I have checked my application but am still none the wiser. I am planning to email the Ad Com unless someone has a better suggestion?

Im guessing you're going to Kellogg? Congrats, thats a great school! I definitely think you made the right decision. Scholarship $$ is very nice and speaks to your strength as a candidate, but I strongly believe the long term view is the wise one to take.

Brainhurt, thats bang on! I have got an admit from Kellogg, which was one of my top choices. I am quite excited to join Kellogg. Culture over there seems quite fascinating to me.

Hi Ariel,
I had a question on the post you have replied to regarding the Declaration of Finances. You mentioned about 150K liquid cash. I am not sure if that is correct.
I got a mail from Cornell today regarding the Declaration of Finances and the mail mentions about declaring liquid assets for $75K. So, I am a little confused here. Can you please help?

Thanks!

Hi Rd2 applicants,
I finished my interview about 15 days ago. however until now the status still says "Interview scheduled". I guess that the interviewer has not submitted the interview report yet.
I wonder if I should give him/her a call.
I start to get kind of worried about this since I'm afraid that my interviewer would forgot what we talked last time

@dangdinhtrung - I dont think the status not getting updated is a problem. Even mine did not get updated until the results were out!

Hey, Guys.
I got offered from both UCLA and Cornell.
In fact, I haven't decided yet which school I should go to.
I'm interested in general management of financial service company.
Is there anyone who can give an advide to me?

They are such different schools and locations, your personal preferences are probably going to play the most significant role in your decision. Do you want to be on the east coast or west coast post-MBA? Strictly based on reputation i would say Cornell is the better bet given you want to get into fin services.

Hi Kevin- would you going to Tuck? That's an excellent school as well. Very similar in terms of location, class size, close knit community feel? All the best!!
