After long careful consideration, I have decided not to take up the offer of admission from Johnson. Good luck to all, and all the best to those on waitlist. Hope good news will come your way soon!

I have yet to hear any good news about that, but i certainly hope they are working on that. Worst case: I may have to survive on instant noodles for 2 yrs
Sorry to hear about Tuck's no loans w/o US co-signer policy. This really sucks big time for internationals. Hope things work out and Tuck's adcom offers some $. Have you communicated your predicament to them ($ from Johnson) and ask for $?
My status hasn't changed from submitted for almost 5 weeks now (December 21st-Today) or well, let's say 3+ weeks, considering the R3 deadline was Jan 4th. I see that some people that submitted later have already gone under review and received interview invites... Does anyone have any ideas on how they actually check the applications? I am starting to get worried. I know there are some other guys out there like moiuday who are in my same situation.

I just went under review yesterday... I think you just have to wait... they may have some alphabetical order or volume by country or experience etc. Don't worry, it surely will be reviewed. One thing though is that even if you submitted your application on Dec 21, I think they would start reading R3 apps only on Jan 4. Just hang in there...

Thanks! Yea that's what I figured... I hope to see that status update email sometime soon! Good luck with the process!
Just wanted to confirm, the deadline for the enrollment deposit is today -correct? It is NOT the deadline to provide the Declaration of Finances right- Can someone please confirm?

Something else to consider is that based on last year's invites it looks like Cornell typically waits until February and even March before releasing the bulk of their interview invites. I'm actually surprised that some invites have already been released this early.

If you're referring to the Declaration of Finances for international students, then no. These can be submitted much later in the process (you need that for your I-20 late in the spring/early summer). I would not recommend that you wait till last minute though.
Guess its game over for R2 applicants who did not get interview invites...ding for me

Yeah I am in the same boat. I applied for round 2 and haven’t heard anything back. One would have to imagine that with the decision deadline coming up in two weeks, it cant be good. Though I’m surprised they haven’t send denials either.
I think the ding/WL/some admits go out on the decision date - in the case of R2, 2/15. Their decision dates are always Tuesday, and it seems like they call the admitted ones starting the Thursday the week before, hence the 10th.
I would look at the last year's thread in terms of the last date for extending the invitation. It seemed like they do it in batch, but sometimes, just like other schools, few trickle out.
