Well, I dont remember which school webinar covered it but it was mentioned a dozen of times that you have to be specific when talking about your future goals. They want to see that you have a plan. In reality, of course you can say your goal is consulting but then switch to IB.

Anyways, if you disagree with my points, here is how a full video of application fill out with applicant lab consultant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ToeqmowrlU&t=3611s

Hey guys! How’s everyone doing with applications?

I wanted to share that Johnson will be hosting a virtual event on Sept 11 — "Ask Admissions: Application Tips".

If you have any specific questions as you work through your application, this could be a great last-minute resource (especially if you’re aiming for Round 1).

Here is the link as well:

Hi,

I am planning to take GMAT - Home based exam.

Will I be at any disadvantage, as i got to know that ISB (India) won’t accept home based exam results.

Want to understand how colleges in US consider GMAT - Home based exam?

Can someone pls elaborate on whether it is advisable to fill these fields or not.
Hey there, I think you should fill it out because it gives more context to the adcoms about your background. Feeling it out definitely won’t hurt you but leaving it blank could raise questions. I would not worry about whether profile of your parents is impressive or not. If you come from a more modest background, it can strengthen your story by showing how much you achieved on your own. If your parents do have higher education or professional accomplishments, it’s neutral background info. It doesn’t add or subtract “points” but still provides context.

U.S schools accept the home-based GMAT exam the same way as the in-person version. There’s no disadvantage in admissions. Both are considered equally valid by the test makers and schools. If you’re more comfortable testing at home, you should go for it.

Hi! Yes, they are very different. Cornell Tech MBA is 1 year, based in NYC, project-driven, no internship and is generally best if you want to be in tech, digital product, or startup space.
FTMBA is 2 years in Ithaca with traditional recruiting pipelines, enough time for internship and great for career switchers.

Hello all, I told my recommender about Cornell and he mentioned he also wants to apply to the school and is worried if there will be some conflict over there.

Anyone has an idea if there would be any conflict there?
I strongly advise you reach out to adcom at Cornell .
