From WSJ article: -Lawmakers are scrutinizing large U.S. companies, including Amazon and Apple, over their use of H-1B visas amid American layoffs. -Senators requested data from companies by Oct. 10 on H-1B workers’ wages and potential displacement of American employees. Not surprised to see more scrutiny with Republicans controlling the Senate, but I was hoping to see some other news instead of more political pressure around H-1B.

What surprised me is not law suits filed on H1B $100K as far as I know Previously lawsuit flooded next day when some immigrant policies came Not even concerned statement from any big tech or IB companies ... it used be case back in a day

That is a valid point. I hope there is some behind curtains lobbying going on though. I see why companies would not want to make public announcements. No one wants to draw attention as they can get slammed with political scrutiny, AI regulations, antitrust etc.

Or maybe to them 710 sounds stronger than a 655 (imo they should start using the new format scores, the concordance table by GMAC is for a reason)

I also see Cornell give more GMAT waivers ( for most of IB background folks) than any other top program ... which doesn't really paint full picture on true median it inflated Cornel buckled the trend, actually, it took more internationals this year, while every other program declined, Duke, Wharton, UCLA, Georgetown steeply reduce international admits
