called up Darden, they said hat IV invites will go out beyond March 26 was also told my app was still under review... maybe alls not lost!!

PS: App status has been blank for a while now.(more than 3 weeks)

Is Darden your #1? When do you have to let Fuqua know your decision?

Fuqua deposit deadline is April 5th, but I'm not 100% on how I'm leaning at this point. I wish Darden Days was earlier so that I (and my wife) could get a more accurate comparison. I'm guessing that it would be really hard for me to choose Darden over Fuqua fresh after the Blue Devil weekend, but I really do like both schools. I may have to make an extra visit to Charlottesville before sending or not sending a check to Duke.

... Of course, there's always that Kellogg application that I sometimes forget I submitted, but for whatever reason I'm just not expecting anything besides a ding.

I am in a real similar boat. Darden deposit is due next week and have to decide between Duke and Darden. Strongly leaning toward Duke at this point but I haven't been able to pull the trigger yet.

So did you join the video chat eventually on the other day? Got any good news from the school?

Also, have you sent out your desposit and transcripts? I am still waiting for their updates on Request for I20 Form, but they are not issuing I20 before April 28th, so I assume the Request form and loan issues may only be settled no ealier than April. I really hope they can speed up on this...I want to avoid the peak season for visa applying in June and July, but...ahhh, I am desperate now.

If there is any updates on I20 and loans, please keep me abreast.

Interviewed on campus several weeks ago, and I was very impressed with the students that I met. They seemed more sincere and overall intelligent than any other program I've visited. A lot of better ranked programs have admitted students that you really wonder about. This was not the case at Darden. Also, it seemed like students have better job opportunities at Darden than other programs I've visited. It seemed like every student I met had an offer or an intership from a large company (admittedly this was a small sample). I do see why they make you go on campus to interview.

i sent in my $1000.00 sometime last week (there goes my vacation), though I am still waiting on other schools' round 2 decision... i need the insurance of at least one school, just in case i get dinged in my R2 school choices.

Pochcc, so where are you from? Do you also need to get the loans done? I talked to my account manager, and really, they have no updates on this at all, only an alledged deadline. :(

yes, i do need to get the loans done, and have no idea yet how to go about that. i might not even study in the US, so i'm not researching too much on procedures yet yet... there might be different ways of going about them in different countries... but any info would surely help :)

Don't worry about that. I applied and was admitted in R1 and my application says the same thing.

What do you mean by"you might not even study in the US", are you going to Darden this fall?

For folks who completed R2 interviews, what is your online app status now? Mine went from "MBA: Your application has been submitted" to just "Your Application" a week ago and changed back to "submitted" this week. Any wild guess what's the inner working behind? And any R1 guys could share if this indicates in/ding/waitlist?

Can't believe there is still 2 week to go before the d day:-(
