Darden's yield was higher then admissions expected in Round 1, leaving fewer open spots for Rounds 2 and 3 applicants. This unfortunately made round 3 admission more difficult than normal.
Just a shout out to fellow waitlisters. WL w Int R1. write another essay on leadership, work update and re-took gmat (680 - 730). Received 2 stock emails that they are still looking at the WLers. Not very optimistic at this point.
My immigration status will change soon. will become a Permanent Resident of US and am thankful for it. Is it something that I need to update school? I wont need any visa sponserships from recruiters. I understand that they dont make decisions based on one's status. But sponserships for internationals is something to be considered.
Reapplicant, I got email from Darden on April 4th and May 2nd. I would definitely update them on the change in the immigration status. I guess it makes you a citizen equivalent now. And I am not sure, but if your future career goals were somehow US oriented it makes them easier to achieve. Congrats by the way
Thanks Fuji. I updated my interviewer about it. Does Darden waitlist have only you and me? I really like Darden. I felt comfortable and confident during my visit.
Darden blog for admitted students has posts about M/B/B receptions, housing options, reading materials etc etc. Where does it leave us, waitlisted applicants?
A couple of weeks ago I heard there would be some movement "the first week of June." I'm hoping that means next week and that it hasn't already happened.

Did anyone see any movement happen? I guess the materials fee deadline was June 10th, so maybe we'll hear from them next week?
