Does anyone know the guidelines to inform the adcom about an update to your application? I just received news about a small promotion but don't know if it is too late since the R1s will find out in 5 days.

I am also in the same boat .. I too got more responsibilities+ "Aawaj Do" campaign by Unicef to improve education in India + I have attended a short term course to further enhance my soft skills on team building.

Current students .. please guide on the same .. Thanks !!

Jan 26 is India's republic day and today Indians are celebrating!!!!

26th January is that day on which we listen the sound of shoes of our brave soldiers marching with the beats. It is the day on which it seems painted with colors of our National Flag when we look at the sky and see our fighter airplanes showing their reach. .. Wish you all Happy republic day!!!

i got the fuqua talk email too....i guess its sent to everyone so it doenst mean anything....

ps - i also got the reply from my interviewer to the thank you mail...but again, there have been times when i did not get the reply and yet i got the admit...so im sure it means nothing...just sit back and keep waiting till the decision date...

I did not receive any kind of e-mail from them. I'm a bit worried. Its easy to second-guess the things I may have done wrong on the application at this point. R1 applicant here, self-initiated on-campus interview, am friends with a current student who wrote a referral for me, etc. Groan. Anyone else in a similar situation?

R2 applicants have got the email that their application is complete and under review. You, R1 applicant, just have to wait for the final decision coming on 31st.

The only email that I have received from duke was the confirmation email regarding application status, so don't worry if you didn't receive any other email from them. I know its hard! Trust me!

The only email that I have received from duke was the confirmation email regarding application status, so don't worry if you didn't receive any other email from them. I know its hard! Trust me!

I only received the confirmation e-mail as well.

I'm an R1 applicant and did a self-initiated interview.

I hope the admissions committee releases the decision on Friday rather than on Monday. It'll be a sucky weekend with the admission decision hovering above my head.

When I looked at last year's R1 decisions, they were released a few days early (maybe the Thursday or Friday before they were due), but it looked like they were released early because the AdCom inadvertently released some decisions and then felt compelled to release all of the decisions early. Has anyone else gone back to see whether Fuqua released decisions early in any other rounds or in previous years?

I believe a current student posted that Fuqua notifies everyone on the decision release date. I am assuming that is correct and that we'll be waiting until Monday. In the meantime, I would encourage you to consider unsubscribing to this board so you don't continue to receive notices of new replies. I found myself hitting refresh too often only to read posts from R2 and R3 applicants. -There isn't anything wrong with those posts, and this is an appropriate forum for them, I just kept coming back to the board to see if someone heard anything about R1 decisions.
