I think I'd like the e-mail method with a call follow up from a student, adcom member, or alum welcoming you to the school.

Seems like the best you can do to make everyone happy.

Tuck did a pretty good job by emailing everyone a week in advance and telling them exactly when and how they would be contacted.

Some EA admitted applicant mentioned that with the decision email, we will be notified of instructions about the schols. Typically they will come 2 weeks after the admit.

Good luck everyone...would've thought the verdict would be out by now. Are they really gonna make us wait until 5pm? I can't imagine them still scrambling to make decisions

Unlike some other programs, I don't believe Duke actually publishes a time when they'll release their decisions. Over the past few cycles, I don't believe they've ever waited until 5:00 p.m. to release decisions. Of course there is a first time for everything.

All we can do is wait.

Don't forget to hit "log out" before closing the window, otherwise it could freeze your log-in for about a half hour...anything can happen in that amount of time :?
