Did anyone's reommender complain about not being able to copy-paste into the online reco system from a word doc? Mine says he is having to re-type everything he had prepared in a word doc :S

My recommender had the same problem :roll: .

I was struggling with the app (is it only me, or are essays with large word limits tougher?) and I've decided to submit in R2. Kicking myself.

So, for Internationals, if we dont have the A, B, grading system then we dont need to fill this one right?

This has me stumped too - i've used the A,B grading system and mentioned that I used the https://www.wes.org comparison charts.

@Thr33: update- my recommender tried 2 things and one of them fixed it: 1. tried pasting smaller amount of lines at one time, and 2. restarted his computer (maybe his buffer was overflowing).

Yes indeed. For that, I rung up my sleeping folks :). No biggie - I guess it's more to do with statistics than anything else. The worst part of the app for me was going through salary slips from all the way back through ten years and four jobs, to compute my total annual bonuses.

Well that's great. Didn't realize that Duke requires official GMAT scores prior to the deadline. Just sent a copy and hoping they will overlook that similar to Ross (got an interview coming up, whoop!) In response to a previous commenter, I had applied two minutes after the deadline to UVA and they accepted my application. Good luck all.

Btw, one of my recommenders complained the system too...and then he found out that the failure of copy and paste was due to the character limit.

CRAP! I just sent in a request - totally did not see that one... UGH... anyone else miss this one?

**Update - scores reached less than 36 hrs after request- called office in Asia to get it expedited! Duke adcomm has been tremendous - replied n let me know when it arrived

Managed to make it to submit in time to make it for R1...
Just 2 hrs before the deadline...

Not sure if my official GMAT report reached them, how can I check that?
I reported 2 weeks back and got an e mail from GMAC saying they have sent the report and its electronically available.
