Was down there Thurs am - Sat am, spending most of Thurs and Fri at Fuqua. I had a great time, and was really impressed at how friendly everyone was - current students as well as applicants. My interview was similar to all the rest described here. Primarily conversational but clearly hitting a number of questions from a list. I think it went very well, but I guess the only way to know for sure is to wait and see. My time down there really reinforced my interest in Duke, so I'm hoping for positive news once they release acceptances.
Had a great visit to Durham Fri-Sat. I really like how they pack interviews into a short window and load the admissions office with students to chat with prospectives. Left more excited about the program than before I arrived.
Had a very friendly, conversational interview w/ some tough questions. Similar to what I've read (going down a list, etc). Overall lasted about an hour.
- Walk me through your resume
- Why MBA? Why Duke?
- How would you contribute to Fuqua?
- Tell me about a failure you were a part of as a team
- Your role in a team and how you typically contribute
- Tell me about your biggest regret
- Strengths / weaknesses
- What do you like to do outside of work and community activities?
- Assume you have a 60 second pitch with the admissions director.
- Any questions for me?
Fingers crossed for the 20th...
