I’m an Emory undergrad + interviewed during an open interview period last month for R1 (you could do it if you went to the super Saturday event). Interviewed with adcom. Was honestly really chill. I think I got asked about strengths and weaknesses, what I’m most proud of, short/long term goals etc

Just got done, it was with adcom. Fairly conversational and it was a blind interview, she only had reviewed my resume. She asked basic questions- tell me about yourself, short term goal, asked about my venture, how would your colleagues describe you, something you were proud of, any questions for me.

Just received an interview invite but slots are only av for tom and day after. Is this supposed to be so short notice or can I expect slots to open up in Nov? Can anyone familiar with the process advise? I was hoping to do this in Nov as I have a few other interviews lined up and balancing work commitments as well
