Hi guys ! I have received an invitation for the Interview. Can anyone who has recently given their interview please share their experience and advice if any. I have applied for the GMBA in Luxury Brand Management
Hello, congrats on receiving the invitation! I got the admit for ESSEC's Strategy & Management Major. The questions might be different for the Luxury Brand aspirants. However, if you would like, I could share my interview experience with you.
Congratulations on the admit !! Will you be joining the Paris or Singapore Campus ?
And it would be great if you could share your interview experience. Any help is welcome

Thanks! I will be joining Singapore campus.
My interview lasted about 40 minutes. It was based almost entirely on my goals. Initially, I was asked to introduce myself and from there on, they jumped right into my goal specific questions. In between, I got a question regarding why I chose a French business school. This was the only general question that I had gotten. But when I asked a few others, they had questions regarding 1) Why MBA at this point of your career? 2) Why the specific college? 3) How do you plan to transition from your current role to the role that you have mentioned in your goals?
One thing I can tell you for sure, be confident about what you have written on your essays and build answers to questions that can follow from your goals. About 90% of the questions will come from what you have provided them about your aspirations and about yourself.
For eg: If your goal is to be a product manager at l'oreal, you should be having a pretty decent background of the brand and the role you wish to pursue, how you would work yourself to transition from your current role to your dream one, why l'oreal and not others, etc.
Also, it would be good for you to know some of the major trends that are happening in the Luxury industry and do make sure that you have a few questions for the admission committee that are not there in the brochure or the website.
All the best for your interview. It is going to be a smooth ride. I expected the worst while preparing for my interview. But once you get into the real deal, it will be over sooner than you think and in a good way

Feel free to reach out for anything else.
