Does anyone know how to change junk mail filters in GMAIL to allow for the email addresses that the school asks you to make sure you can receive mail from?

go to your gmail inbox.
click 'settings' (top right hand corner of page).
click the 'filters' tab.
click 'create a new filter'
in the "from" field, put in the email address in question, and click 'next step' (click OK if you get a dialog box)
check 'never send to spam' and click create filter

Thanks a lot. Any idea if the status on the schools website changes from "Under Review" to something else when you receive an interview?

I am a R2 CGSM applicant to Ross and Yale. I received an email from Yale stating that they would contact me if they felt an additional Yale-specific interview was necessary in addition to the CGSM interview.

Does anybody know if Ross does a school-specific interview in addition to the CGSM interview? I haven't heard anything from them and am beginning to worry.

I recieved an email today from a student club at NYU Stern regarding activites for Stern students. Has anyone else recieved such emails from Stern?

I'm not really sure what to make of this.

Thanks.

Hi! SOM said last year they only had to interview 4 candidates out of the over 400 consortium ones. So you really shouldn't expect an interview from them, unless your Consortium interview had some kind of issue. Ross, on the other hand, will be interviewing all Consortium applicants they are interested in.

I also applied to Ross and I'm feeling really disheartened at this point because it seems like so many people who did not apply from the consortium have gotten interviews, and they have already started slowing down... Is this true for Consortium applicants too, though???

i'm not familiar with Ross's interview practices, but after the gaffe last week, i'm sure that may have slowed down invites. additionally, from other friends who went through the consortium, i have heard that the application process seems to be relatively less predictable and drawn out at most of the schools.

have any CGSM applicants been invited to interview at Ross yet?

Has anyone heard from Cornell (R1 or R2)?

Also, does your ranking of the schools in the Consortium application have any bearing on admission to the school (not necessarily the Consortium membership)?
