jmoney, the verdict hasn't been decided regarding a scholarship for you, just regarding the Consortium scholarship. I am sure you will get something!! :) Congrats on finally being done with this process!

Just got word from Texas....no fellowship. I hope that means that I got into Ross and was offered a fellowship lol :) Texas wrote in the email that they are meeting next week and will let CGSM Texas admits know by Friday about separate UT scholarships.

I just heard from Texas as well. Acceptance to the Consortium, but no fellowship . . . I even ranked them #1 :( . Oh well, I still accepted my offer. On the bright side, there are great benefits of being a Consortium member even if one doesn't get the fellowship.

Make that 3 with the same email..... Consortium membership, no fellowship.

To be honest, I am quite happy to just be part of the Consortium "family", and I look forward to participating if I matriculate at a Consortium school. I really believe in their mission, and I think they are doing some great things for many underrepresented communities. They are opening some improtant doors for lots of people. I think the three of us owe a fair amount of "give back" if we end up at Austin this Fall.

As for Texas, aside from not having a potential "Consortium Fellow" bullet on the old resume, both the State of Texas and the Federal Government give eligible military veterans a "full-ride" scholarship to attend, so tuition, fees and a generous monthly rent allowance are paid for. I know somebody out there could legitimately use the fellowship to finance their education at Texas, so I have no need to "triple-dip" or regrets for not doing so. Still, we gotta find this person and hound him/her for some free drinks......

Wow, CONGRATS to all the Texas Admits! What school will be next to break the news?? Tepper?? Mich?? Have ppl heard back from Wisconsin yet? Wisconsin seems like a sleeper. A very good school with probably a relatively low CGSM app pool (that is just a guess based on the forum activity).

Congrats to all the admits. I also did not receive the fellowship for Texas either, but did get admitted into the Consortium membership. RonMexico great idea, hitting up whoever the lucky soul is for drinks. Sounds like you have a pretty sweet deal anyway though so that's great.

Also MBA Challenge I have not heard from Tuck other than an email a few weeks ago that they will at some point provide login info or something like that. I am waiting to hear from them and from Michigan, hopefully ranking those two schools higher than Texas will lead to a fellowship. Oh well we can always hope.

I received the UT email telling me of a consortium membership with no fellowship. I ranked them kind of low, so I'm not surprised. I guess the wait continues to see if my #1 or #2 offer me the fellowship.

In at Stern, no word about Consortium admit - who notifies you of Consortium admits? The Consortium? The school? A student from the school? In any case, I'm just happy to have a yes from somewhere

No news, on this end...

I lost my marbles, but had enough time to re-organize them.

I gave up on Stern.

I am praying to get some good news either from Darden or Tuck... at this stage of the game, I believe that HBS is a now show... but bigger miracles have happen...

All I've had is bad news dinged at Yale (2nd choice) and Cornell (6th choice); today until next Monday expect good/bad news. I say next Monday because a consortium recruit stated that's when fellowship info will be mailed out. Also, all schools with the exception of Tuck should have emailed this round of students in regards to admission status.

Good job to all those who have been admitted and I hope the stars line up right this week for all those still waiting for good news.

ibrokeit007, good to hear that you lost-but-found and even re-organized your marbles  . Hang in there. A ding from ANY school does not necessarily reflect on the strength of your candidacy. Sometimes, itz a numbers game. A the end of the line, someone, albeit very qualified, gotta go. Other times, its about "fit": you might not have appeared "finance-centric" as Stern might have liked, "IT-centric" as Tepper would want or "collaborative/team oriented" as Kelley or Kellogg might prefer (I wish I understood the process this much when I wrote my essays, oh well...). Take a look at the dings from Booth this year (my humble self included :-D ) and you'd see that many extremely talented folks (my humble self excluded  ) were let go without an int invite. Hopefully, you'd hear something great from Darden or Tuck! They are both wonderful programs.

ssantos78, I got bad news from my 2nd and 6th choices too. So you are still in the running. You are still game. Am sure you'd share good news with us soon!

You heard that all the consortium schools should have emailed their students already? From the looks of the forums Tepper and Ross seem absent from the ding or admit list. I know I haven't heard from them.
