If the pattern from last year holds, some people will get invites next weekish, a lot of people will get dinged mid-December, and more invites will go out end of December. Good luck everyone!

thank you for the info boogs

Is this a myth or reality that Sloan's Rd2 is as competitive as Rd3 at other schools?

i think its more like round 2.5. you aren't screwed, but there is a bigger advantage in R1 vs R2 than other schools. but its not a desperate situation like R3 can be.

I just received a promotion. What is the ideal way to convey this to the school? Letter/ Updated Resume?

Actually, my interview is already complete. I applied in R1. Would it then make sense to shoot an email?

Ahhh...I just read MIT Sloan's thread from last year. Such a Bloodbath!

The results are simply perplexing. They accepted quite a few of HBS/Stanford admits, who did not enroll at Sloan, and rejected some awesome candidates who got accepted at other M7s. That meant there were maybe 2 gmat clubbers who actually enrolled.

What the heck were they thinking??
