Finally UCLA came out with their decisions and I am accepted! It was my top choice, but their online acceptance letter made no mention of any scholarships, which I assume means I got none. :-(

Congrats! I know you wanted UCLA badly. Which school will you go with?

Is there still a way to see our submitted app? I logged in yesterday and saw that it was gone.

I think the Consortium page removed access to the application at the end of the application cycle (end of February). Is everyone in the midst of tough decisions or pumped about OP?

I'm not accepting the fellowship from one of the CGSM schools but will still be attending another CGSM school.

Am I considered a fellow or member? Putting together my resume now and wondering what the non-scholarship recipients are considered.

Anyone applying for a NSHMBA scholarship? I'm not too sure where to go with the app essays and how much I can recycle from my Consortium essays. Also if anyone has insight as to how selective the program is and what the breakdown is of $2500/$5000/$10000 awards that would be tremendous (hoping to find out more from their conference call tmrw, I'll report back anything of use)

@runi - I think I've made my tough decision to decline my fellowship and go to a non-consortium school (hence the need for a NSHMBA scholarship). Stinks to be footing such a large bill but I took a lot of things into account and I believe I'm making a good choice

I'm 99% sure that I'm heading to Cornell. Can't turn down the money.

Article from CEO of the Consortium on Poets and Quants.

"But I believe 570 to 580 GMAT candidates can complete their MBA programs without significant difficulty."

Hi Everyone, I just got my Consortium Fellowship to Texas - anyone else UT Austin bound?

I should mention that I'm a half-cuban / half-white, female applicant ... and I was not expecting a Consortium fellowship, but I'm pretty excited. Also - anyone gotten any information yet about OP? I want to book my tickets to Minneapolis but I would like some confirmation first.

I am also half-Cuban and half white (Russian)!
Is that supposed to be funny? By negative implication, it sounds like you're assuming that all Cubans are black? For being half Cuban, you are 100% clueless as to your heritage. Spain colonized Cuba and if you've ever been there, they're 99% white sweetheart.
You're making the Consortium look bad. As O'reilly would say, "wise up".

Just as an FYI, hundreds of thousands of African slaves were introduced to Cuba during the 17th, 18th, and 19th century, like many caribbean islands, as a free labor tool to gain a foothold in the sugarcane industry.

So like most of us of Caribbean descent, its most likely that her linage, going back far enough, is made up of Taino indian and African blood.
