@lagomez, hahahaha, seriously.

I had a dream (nightmare?) last night that I didn't get in to any school. It was one of those dreams that must have lasted all night because I was drained when I woke up. I suffered through the wait and rejection for each of the five schools I applied to. I've been thinking about what I've could have done better in my apps recently, which probably doesn't help.

It has been nearly three weeks since we submitted, which kind of flew by for me.

I totally just had one of those moments...at work!lol I was reading another discussion thread and a prospective candidate was sharing their story about not getting into any school. I was thinking "wow, sucks to be him" then I was like "Wait...WHAT IF THAT'S ME?!?!?" I almost had a melt down thinking about all of the things I could have done differently in the application process....but considering that I'm keeping my b-school aspriations on the low around the office, I had to tighten up and get back to work lol.

Yes, thinking positively that Ross will take me despite my low GPA and wide ranging verbal/math GMAT scores:)

We all have those "issues" with our application, including myself. No one is perfect, and I'd like to think the adcoms realize that.

I was reading an old consortium thread on BW, and someone was admitted to Stern, Darden, and some other school (not Tuck or Yale), with a sub 600 gmat score. He didn't mention any other stellar attributes, but he probably rocked the essays. And this was from the 2008-2009 cycle, which was probably one of the more competitive years. Not saying you have a sub 600 gmat score, but you know what I mean.

I actually scored a 710 and 660. However, my math and verbal scores are far apart. The only reason I scored a 710 and 660 was due to my verbal score. I was a Liberal Arts major:)

Chi-Town where it is equally cold. Probably colder.

From L.A., but I'm in upstate NY, so probably have you both beat. It was -5 yesterday morning.

I'm frequently in NYC visiting my gf though.

-17 is just ridiculous although many of the schools on my list are in that type of weather so I may have to get used to it. But that hurdle is welcome!

NYC!!

Anyway I like to think that I'm calm cool and collected but about an hour ago I got an email from Ross entitled Ross MBA news round 2 and 3 and I freaked out! "yes, finally some news" I thought. Then I realized that I didn't apply to Ross...I never even visited or really even researched it...

Guys, Ross has started sending out interview invites to Consortium applicants. Did anyone get one yet?
