Hi Beta

I just got wait listed at Marshall as well. Applied to the MBA.PM program, round 2.

I also got the email regarding the financial aid deadlines. Anyone know if this is just a generic email? I don't know if there's any point in applying for financial aid if your admission status is unclear...

If anyone wants to share their experience on the 'wait list, it would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know what time Saturday's admit events start? I lost the sheet that had this info and can't seem to get through to USC regarding this.

Unfortunaly it doesn't mean anything.
It is just an email sent by the University, not by Marshall.

i have not heard anything either... submitted my application on 3/13 and it's been a month! this is a torture...

I called them up but got the same answer - We process waitlist till the classes begin :| I had called the number mentioned on the website. Did you call any different number/ adcom committee? I sent a follow up mail but again no reply...

To be honest, the process will be clear only after 1st May deposit deadline. So we can expect some information only after that...

Do you have any other news regarding WL?

I applied for R3 of the USC MBA.PM program in mid-March, and I’m hoping for an acceptance even though it’s getting a little late.

Stats:
-28 years old
-IT background, 6 years experience
-640 GMAT (41 quant, 37 verbal)
-3.1 GPA from top 50 undergrad.

I spoke with admissions and they said that acceptances wouldn’t be coming until mid-May, at the earliest. Hopefully they still have some spots open.

Got mine as well. Do you think selecting the Skype option would hurt my chances? I want to get out there but it will be very tough with my work schedule (not to mention expensive).

So got into Marshall with 50% tuition. Now dilemma is that I also got into Babson with little bit more (15k for 2 yrs) money than Marshall. Any opinions? This decision is getting tougher than I thought.

Marshall is head and shoulders the better school (and that's supported by rankings, avg GMAT, starting salary, job placement etc.) and unless you have very specific reasons why you want to be in Boston, you should not lose any sleep over paying the extra 15k for Marshall.
