I know for a fact that Yale SOM checks some of these boards. 1. I saw someone while at SOM 2. I happened to recognize the username of someone in admissions and this person was actively on the "recent" user list.

At least you know that they won't be able to connect your username to your app

You never know, it might be a double bluff! I should have put my GPA as 3.14 and my location as Toronto, ON just to throw a cat amongst the pigeons...
I was just looking at some of the older posts on here and am curious what approach you took to your 'activities' in the end. I have a few I could mention but some are a lot stronger than others. I'm wondering whether to nix one or two.

lol, that would be taking overanalysis to a new level!
In the end I included 5 activities. 3 were solid charitable pursuits, the other 2 I discussed sports involvement to show that side of me.
if it was actually sent on the 20th it's not coming. usps delivers internationally in less time (and that's not even paying extra).
I think people need to give a call or e-mail to let admissions know you haven't received anything. as I mentioned earlier, they didn't seem to be aware of any delay when I asked.
no I haven't which is why I called. they seemed to think it should come soon. I'm encouraging everyone else to call or e-mail so that they realize something is awry here... it doesn't take 3 weeks for mail to go a few states.
two people have posted that they received their packets. (a while ago)

If you still have not received your admitted student package, I would do what yalie2011 did. It's unusual for your package to be delayed this late (especially when it should have been received within about a week of the decision date). My only guess is that the snow storm had something to do with it. I would definitely call the admissions office at this point and express your concerns.
To those who have not receive the admit packet, I just learned that there were several dozens that were still with SOM by Jan03. Wait a day or two dependent upon the geographic locations, and you should have it. Looking forward to meeting you guys this summer.
BTW, anyone is planning to attend the regional 2013 student reception in those big cities?
