I've heard 40% get invitations and about 40% of those get in.

I concur. Did anyone apply for Explore Diversity?
Also if you guys haven't signed up for the Q&A session through Accepted.com, they are very usefull. More than likely they are going to reveal how many applicants they had in R1 and maybe even some interview tips. It's next week.

there is no indication of timing. the invite is very generic. "congrats. click here to pick a time. etc."

I checked my application status yesterday morning at around 9.30. There was no activity. I signed out and maybe not even a half hour later I got an email. So at least emails are now automatic with the status change, you don't need to refresh the page anymore.

I applied to the explore diversity weekend. We are supposed to find out today whether or not we were accepted. No word yet for me. I'm especially nervous about this because Yale has far and away been my first choice since I started researching b schools a few years ago. At the same time, I can't imagine it's really all that competitive to get admitted to a diversity weekend?

I applied as well and haven't heard back yet either. Yale is my number 1 choice too, I applied before I had an interview invitation, we'll see how that affects my application. I will let you know when I hear back.

I have a feeling they'll probably want to fill the diversity weekend with people who have interview invites. I'm applying rd2 through the consortium (jan 5), so we'll see how that goes. I'll let you know if i hear anything also...

I attended this event a couple of years ago, and, actually, it's for prospective students whether or not he/she has applied. I met many students that had not applied and many realized SOM was not a good fit.
