Good news,...it looks like there are some spots available. I'll see if I can make it up there soon.

Mooze you should hop over to the Consortium 2012 Forum, update your profile to reflect you are applying through the Consortium and introduce yourself.

We'd love to have you join the conversation.

Will do Senator,..thanks!

I posted a similar question on Yale's forum...

Tuck asks how many employees report to the applicant. In order to be a reporting employee, does the applicant have to be their supervisor/manager? As a Senior Analyst, I train our analysts and delegate assigments/tasks, review their work, etc. However, I am not their supervisor. Do they report to me?

I took this question to mean that unless you perform their performance evaluations for the year, they do not report to you. As you mention lots of other delegation, mentoring, etc....if this came across clearly in your essays, it definitely shows management/leadership experience depending upon how you sold it. Many people accepted to business school are younger and have yet to manage a team, however, I would imagine most have led projects or initiatives.

Are there any November round applicants who still haven't interviewed yet?
I couldn't work out a date with my interviewer in December, and he hasn't responded so far in January.
The deadline is this Friday, so I'm getting really worried.

How's the drive from Boston to Dartmouth?

I'm supposed to drive this Thursday morning and get there by 10 AM, but looks like there is a big snow storm coming through.

Will it be pretty rough driving? Will I even make it?!

Hi Tuck applicants! FYI if you're applying to Tuck through the Consortium Graduate Study in Management (CGSM), hop over to the Consortium 2012 Forum and Update Your Profile to join the Consortium roll call.

It's simple. Just select your school as "Consortium, the", then indicate which specific institution(s) you'll be applying to, make sure your application cycle is 2011-2012 and the Consortium round (CGSM1 or CGSM2) you be applied in. You can do all of this easily through the handy 'Add to Your Schools' link on the front page of the Consortium 2012 Forum.

We have a special analytics specifically for those candidates applying via Consortium and lots of conversation specific to Consortium candidates and the school(s) they are applying to.

Come and join the conversation! Cheers!

Was this a school initiated or applicant initiated interview? If it was school initiated, I'd give a quick call over to the adcom office and give them a heads up in regards to the situation to see if they have any suggestions.

School initiated. And I emailed them about my situation, but I haven't got any response.

Does Tuck release the decision prior to the final decision date or I have to wait until the last day? Applied R2.

Drive up to Tuck from Boston is about 2 hrs. I live in Boston and made the drive in November. Left right before 6am and was in Hanover, parked, and ready for an 8:30am class with a few minutes to spare. The drive is pretty easy as long as the weather cooperates.

I am also on WL. Nothing yet. Though one of the admissions officers mentioned to me that WL's will probably be contacted in the next month to two months.

I've also emailed it this morning but haven't received a confirmation yet. Hopefully they'll send something tomorrow.

I know it's a bit weird, but I don't really have a "top choice" per se. I'm an American, but I've been working in China for over six years...and honestly I would be really happy just to be anywhere back in the States :-D

The being said, Ross was def one of my top choices as it's close to my home in Chicago and I really like the active learning approach the school takes. I'm quite fascinated by Tuck's uniquely strong culture though, and it'd really be amazing to be part of such a close-knit network. I'm definitely not withdrawing my application to Tuck, and it'd be a real hard choice to make if it comes down to that.

I agree ... Tuck is definitely unique in terms of its culture. But I'm just letting one admit sink in for now and make that choice in March (if I do get admitted to Tuck) :)
