I totally agree that's why I was having the second thought scheduling my interview with a y2 student haha
But looking through their website, Foster mentioned the interviewers are all assigned randomly from a pool of adcom and current students. Though it was a little sus that I was assigned with someone who almost shared my identical professional background and post-MBA goals, even worked at a same company. I guess my question is whether it's truly random and if so, how can I even begin to ask for a interview with a adcom at this point lol cause I have to email the adcom to reschedule

I’m also curious if there’s any advantage/disadvantage or difference between interviewing with an adcom member vs a second year student. I really thought interviews in previous years were all conducted by the adcom.
Interviewing with admissions member is more consistent because they are professional interviewers and it’s part of their job so the emotions and personal side has less impact. It’s more impersonal but it’s more objective
I have heard a lot more alumni disaster interviews than admissions. I think those are the worst. Current students likely ok. But I feel admissions director is the best option, feel free to disagree 😇
