Received a phone call from the ad com at 1pm EST with the good news! good luck to the other applicants

For those who have been accepted, do they mention any scholarship info on the phone? Has your status changed?

I asked about merit scholarships and the ad com said that the information will be spelled out in the acceptance letter. The letter will be loaded on the online system this afternoon (no time given). My status on the web site still shows "submitted"

My coworker said nothing was mentioned about scholarships and his status on the website hasn't changed yet.

Ditto about what jythaung said about the letter being loaded into the system. And also mail would be sent in the next few days.

Of course.....they cant call everybody

This happened in R1 for a lot of people

just a FYI - there will be an open house for admitted students on April 15-16 (starts at 9AM).

Yup, I agree.

I was thinking this morning that calling all admitted students within 4-5 hours is a bit difficult.

At this point, I could care less if I got a call or not. Just want an ADMIT.

But I can't help but think negatively as time passes because I haven't gotten a phone call yet.

I thought staring at the phone would help but it hasn't.
