Status does not change till tomorrow...
This is my 4th time... No news yet...
If u r anxious, call admissions office n check if they are planning to call more ppl... All the best...

1) typically get interviewed and then waitlisted and subsequently declined / accepted OR
2) do they first get waitlisted and are then either invited to interview / declined?

Typically it is the 1st. I have not heard of a candidate who is never interviewed and then waitlisted.
